Chapter 2 — Wedding Plans

“You look like a freaking princess.”

A hint of the recently devoured chocolate chip cookies still hung in the air as Delilah stood in front of her apartment’s bedroom window. Basking in the sunlight’s warmth as she twirled in her full wedding ensemble, she couldn’t help but smile at her best friend’s compliment.

“Aww, thanks Erin. You’re so sweet.”

“Yeah, but not as sweet as those cookies.” Erin said through her smile as she sat on Delilah’s bed watching her friend.

“Definitely sweeter” Delilah countered.

“Oh, so does that mean you’re gonna eat me too?” Erin joked with a laugh.

“Eww, goss, cut it out!” Delilah giggled at her maid of honor before giving Erin a playful push. Erin overdramatically play-acted weeping into her hands and both girls burst into a fit of giggles.

“Sorry Del, you walked right into that one. I couldn’t resist.” Erin said with a wink. “But hey girl, if you ever decided to play for the other team, you know where to find me.” Both girls giggled at Erin’s comment.

“You just keep on wishin’ missy. I’m the straightest girl on this planet. If you don’t believe me, just ask Tony.”

“Oh Tony. You mean the lucky bastard. At least I can’t fault him for his taste in women.” Erin looked Delilah up and down briefly with a grin. Delilah gave her another playful nudge. Then almost out of nowhere Erin began smacking her lips and let out a little cough. “Say Del, I’m parched. I’ll be right back.”

“You okay Erin?” Delilah asked as her best friend since middle school climbed off the bed and began heading towards the kitchen.

“Oh yeah girl, it’s just that new med I took earlier. It always happens like 20 minutes after I take it. Be back in a jif.”

As Delilah stood there in her wedding gown watching her friend head off into the kitchen for water, she couldn’t help but be proud of how well Erin was taking all of this as she contemplated their friendship.

Shortly after Tony proposed, Erin came out to Delilah, admitting both that she was a lesbian and had been in love with her for years. Delilah was straight as straight could be though, and for a while Erin was pretty bitter that she didn’t reciprocate the feelings. They finally made amends about a month ago, and Delilah was delighted to have her best friend and maid of honor back in her life.

Delilah had just slipped on her tiara for the wedding and was checking herself out in the standup mirror as Erin returned. Standing in the doorway, she smiled at her friend.

“What’re you all smiles about?” Delilah asked as she turned to get a better view of her butt in the mirror.

“Oh, I’ve just been waiting for this day for a long time.” As Erin spoke, Delilah couldn’t help but notice an almost sickly sweet honey smell in the air.

“What? The day you made cookies at your best friend’s house 48 hours before her wedding and had girl talk while she tried on her wedding dress?”

“No.” Erin said, taking a step into the room. “The day I make you fall madly in love with me.”

Delilah laughed out loud at her best friend’s joke, but quickly realized that Erin wasn’t laughing. She furrowed her brow.

“Erin, are you okay? That was a joke, right?” Erin didn’t say anything. Instead she walked up face to face with her bestie. Much to Delilah’s shock, her friend leaned in and kissed her on the lips. Delilah was stunned. She had been completely unprepared for this. When the shock wore off she pushed Erin away as gently as she could and took a step backwards.

“Whoa, whoa, whoa. Come on Erin, not cool. I thought we were over this. You know I don’t have feelings for you like that. What’s gotten into you?!” Delilah was trying to keep her cool, but the shake in her voice and her elevated pitch gave away her true feelings.

“Oh Delilah, my sweet. This is going to be so much fun. Let’s try that again. Kiss me. Kiss me like a lover. Kiss me like you kiss your Tony.”

Delilah couldn’t believe what Erin was saying. Where was this coming from? Moreover, why was she moving closer to her friend? Del’s eyes went wide in horror as she became aware of what her body was doing. Against her will, she found herself meeting Erin in an embrace, her arms wrapping around her friend as she tilted her head and drew closer until their lips met.

As she began kissing another woman for the first time in her life, Delilah’s mind screamed fruitlessly for her body to stop. Instead, she felt her lips part. In defiance to her desires Delilah felt her tongue enter Erin’s mouth. Erin moaned as their tongues explored one another, and a tear streamed down Delilah’s face as she found her hands caressing Erin’s back, just as she had been caressing Tony as the lovers kissed the night before. An eternity passed while the bride made out with her maid of honor, confusion and terror flooding her mind.

Finally the kiss faded and Delilah found herself free to move once more. She quickly stumbled backward away from the friend, nearly tripping over her dress in the process. Erin held her ground, giving Delilah a hungry grin.

“Erin, wha, how, what the fuck was that?” Delilah stuttered as she tried to compose herself. “I don’t know what kind of game this is, or what you think you’re doing, bu, but, you just, I think you need to go. You just need to leave, right now.” Erin’s grin grew wider, and then she opened her mouth to speak again.

“Now Del, come on. That wouldn’t be fun. If I leave we won’t get to fuck, and I’ve wanted that for so long. I’ve got a better idea. Be a good girl and come stand here quietly so I can feel you up. Something about seeing you in a wedding dress gets me so turned on.”

Delilah gasped as she felt her feet begin moving her back towards where Erin was standing. ‘This can’t be happening’ played on repeat in her mind as she moved towards her maid of honor, finally stopping right in front of her friend. She wanted to run. She wanted to scream. She wanted to knock Erin down and get out of there. She could do none of these things. Instead she stood quietly as she’d been told, and a deluge of tears streamed down her face as she felt feminine hands begin caressing her body.

“Oooh, that feels nice.” Erins hands slid along the dress, following the patterns of the beading. “Poor Tony’s gonna be so sad that he’s losing these.” Erin took both her hands and grabbed Delilah’s breasts, giving them a squeeze through the white dress. Delilah’s stomach churned, flooding her with nausea at the unwanted touch.

“You don’t know how long I’ve wanted to do this Del.” Erin continued groping Delilah as she spoke. “Remember back in our junior year, when we had gym together? I can still close my eyes and see you in the showers, soaping up these tits. I always wished it had been my hands lathering them up. God, Del, I want you so bad.” With that, Erin brought her mouth to Delilah’s exposed shoulder and started kissing her way up towards her face.

The entire time Erin was leaving her trail of kisses along her friend’s neck, Delilah was begging her body to respond. To move. To do anything. The dress she dreamed of wearing as she said her vows to Tony was well and truly soaked from her stream of tears, but she didn’t care. She just had to get away.

“My poor, scared baby,” Erin cooed between planting several little kisses on Delilah’s quivering lips, “Don’t cry. Everything will be alright soon enough. Let’s get out of all these clothes while we kiss some more. This time though, you’re going to love kissing me way more than any time you’ve ever kissed a boy.”

An almost intolerable honey smell pushed the thoughts slowly into her brain as Delilah found her lips met once more by her best friend’s. Slowly her tears came to a halt. She could feel the hands that had been on her breasts slipping behind her back, followed by the unmistakable feeling of her wedding dress’ zipper coming down. As she felt her dress sliding down her body and crumpling on the floor, her lips parted once again, meeting the sweet, sweet taste of Erin’s tongue on her own.

As the girls’ lips continued to dance and their tongues explored one another, Delilah found herself getting more and more into the kiss. She knew she shouldn’t. She knew she should hate it. She knew that it was wrong. But she also knew that it felt kinda nice, and the longer their kiss endured, the nicer it felt.

Before very long, Delilah found their makeout session going from nice, to hot, to scorching as she let out a quiet moan. In her last attempts to fight the change taking place, she tried reminding herself how much more she loved kissing men, but it was a lost cause. She ticked off the names of every boy who’d given her so much as a peck, but nothing could compare. Even as she thought back to her hottest kiss with Tony, a night where her fiance brought her to an intense orgasm as their tongues danced, she knew it couldn’t hold a candle to this. The honest truth was that she loved kissing Erin.

Standing in only her wedding lingerie with her white gown crumpled at the floor, Delilah began kissing Erin back in earnest. The kiss only got hotter and hotter, and Delilah found herself more and more turned on. She was so lost in the moment that she barely registered the shifting when Erin’s pants and panties slid to the floor. She’d been so into the kiss that when Erin pulled away to take her shirt and bra off, it was Delilah who re-initiated their makeout session. She didn’t even put up any resistance when she felt Erin’s hands removing her own bra and panties. As their nipples rubbed together while their tongues wrestled, all Delilah knew was that this was the hottest kiss she’d ever had in her life, and she never wanted it to stop.

After a few more moments, Erin finally broke away from the kiss, wrapping her arms around Delilah in a tight embrace. As their naked bodies pressed together and their heads rested on one another’s shoulders, Delilah began to come back down from the passion of the moment, feeling her fear rising once more.

“Mmmh, how was that baby?” Erin asked. After a moment of silence she added “You don’t have to be quiet anymore. Tell me how you feel.”

“Erin, I, that, I mean” Delilah sputtered out, “that was amazing. But scary. All of this is scaring me Erin. I’m not gay. I don’t know how you’re doing this, but I just want it to stop. I’m getting married in two days, and I just want my Tony.”

“But Del, I love you so much.” Erin pulled her head back to look directly into Delilah’s eyes. “I love you, and you love me, more than anything or anyone else. And not just as friends, but lovers too. You know we’re meant to be together. You were just confused when you thought you were straight, sweetie. That’s why I’m here helping you. You’re a lesbian, just like me, and we’re madly, hopelessly in love.

“No” was the only word that escaped Delilah’s lips as she stared at her friend. She loved Erin so much. They were best friends. Erin was her maid of honor. How could she be doing this to her? She couldn’t let Erin change her, she just couldn’t. Her wedding to Tony was so soon. She and Tony were meant for each other. She’s not a lesbian. She can’t barely stand watching two girls kiss on TV, let alone having actual lesbian sex. ‘Fight this,’ she insisted to herself.

With each second that counted by, Delilah felt the seeds planted in her brain growing. Try as she might, she couldn’t stop it. She forced herself to think of her Tony. She loved him so much. He was so good to her, and he felt so good against her, just like Erin feels good against her now. Erin really did feel so good. So soft and sensual. She began thinking about what it would be like to do more than just kiss her best friend, and how hot it would be to see Erin between her legs, licking her pussy, making her cum.

‘No!’ her mind screamed out, fighting inch by inch to hold onto what was being taken away. She tried thinking back to her intimate moments with Tony. The times they made love. The times he climaxed inside her. Climaxed inside her. Despite her willpower she found herself shuddering at the thought. She wanted to like it. She truly did, but the more she thought about Tony penetrating her folds and filling her pussy, the more she found it repulsive. She had to have liked it though, hadn’t she?

Even as she asked the question, she knew the reality. She was a lesbian. Just like Erin. Sweet beautiful Erin, who she loved so much. She started to understand why Erin had been scaring her so much today. Erin must have seen who she really was. She wasn’t really trying to scare her. No, Erin was trying to save her. She saw through Del’s faux straightness, and she rescued her from it. Erin was her hero, and the more Delilah let that thought sink in, the more madly and hopelessly she fell in love with her best friend.

Erin continued to hold her close. Delilah felt so safe, so secure here with her. Slowly Delilah’s arms slid up and around Erin, returning her embrace. She remained there for what felt like an eternity, hugging Erin tightly and sighing in appreciation of what she did for her by freeing her from her disillusions.

“Thank you,” Delilah whispered in her lover’s ear. “Thank you so much, my love.”

Moments later the two women collapsed into Delilah’s bed, her dress, her fiance, and her wedding happily abandoned. The would-be bride spread her legs wide in invitation as Erin crawled up between them. As her best friend, former maid of honor, and soulmate began slowly, sensually licking up and down her folds, Delilah rested her legs on Erin’s shoulders and groaned in pleasure. ‘She is soooo good at this’ the freshly minted lesbian thought as her best friend and soulmate ate her out.

Hours later, spent and exhausted from their lovemaking, Delilah’s fingers toyed their way through Erin’s hair as they cuddled together.

“Hey Del? “Erin began, her voice trembling in nervousness for the first time that night.

“Yes, my love?”

“I really hope I didn’t hurt you tonight. I sorta lost a little control early on and I feel so bad about that.”

“Oh, sweety,” Delilah purred to her lover. “You saved me. I understand it all now, and I’ll forever be grateful for what you did for me today.” With that, Delilah planted a kiss on Erin’s forehead, causing her to sigh in relief.

“I’m so glad to hear that” Erin replied, her voice still trembling. “So I know this might seem fast, and I hope it’s not too soon,” Erin breathed shakily, barely above a whisper, “but I’ve wanted to ask you this for years. Delilah, will you marry me?”

Tears of joy welled up in Delilah’s eyes, as she began to cry, she nodded her head vigorously.

“Yes!” She sobbed out, “Oh Erin, I want that so much. I love you so much.” As she cried tears of happiness, Erin’s lips found Delilah’s once more. As they kissed their congratulations and talked about wedding plans, Delilah thought back on her day and smiled. This was right where she truly belonged, intertwined with her one true love.
