Malinda sighed as she watched Sofia from across the cafeteria. Sofia was a loner with no friends and probably the exact opposite of Malinda. Her long brown hair was often ruffled as if she had gotten out of bed and just formed them into pigtails without even combing. Her deep green eyes were often hidden behind glasses, but in recent months she seemed to be wearing contacts. “Okay, I’ll be over in a bit,” Lilia said followed by the click of her phone hanging up.

Malinda rushed up to her room and got her spell pages out. For a few moments she was tempted to copy them, but decided against it. Lilia was right about the damage they had caused.
