Professor Julius Miller realises his super-human formula is going to be subsumed by the military—which wants to build an army of mutants with abilities far beyond the natural. He escapes with perhaps the only remaining vial and, in near-by Valley Central Hospital injects it into patient Billy Bathgate (with the hopes of retrieving it afterwards). Unfortunately the Professor is shot down by agents from G-5.
