Skanky Town

Chapter 8 — Retaliatory Action

Jake sat in the car and looked forlornly out the windows of the car as Angela drove them back to the hotel. “I can’t believe it,” he said morosely. “I can’t believe she’d do that to me.”

Angela said nothing as she continued to drive.

“What the hell was she doing out there?”

“Wasn’t that obvious?”

Jake shook his head. “That’s not what I meant and you know it. I meant why was she there?”

Angela shrugged her shoulders. “It’s a work detail,” she said finally.

“A work detail?”

“Yeah, you know. You do something wrong and the cops catch you. The court can throw you in jail or they can fine you or they can find some other alternative form of punishment. Works wonders for some people. Get them out by the side of the road and have them pick up some trash.”

“Yeah, but she wasn’t picking up trash.”

“I don’t know,” Angela said. “That girl she was with looked kind of trashy to me.”

Jake looked back at Angela and then he looked away again. “I guess,” was all he would say.

The drive back to the hotel didn’t take long and it was made in near silence. “Thanks,” Jake said as soon as the car was stopped.

“My pleasure.”

“Yeah, I’ve been meaning to ask you about that.”

“Sir?”

“You knew where she was all along, didn’t you?”

Angela didn’t say anything.

“You knew where she was all along,” the man said, “and yet, you didn’t say anything. I want to know why and how?”

“Why and how?”

“Yeah. Why and how. Like how’d you know where she was for starters.”

“It’s a small town,” Angela said as if that explained everything.

“What’s that got to do with anything?”

“I take it you haven’t lived in a small town before.”

Jake shook his head. “No, I haven’t, but like I said, what’s that got to do with anything.”

“Contrary to popular belief, we don’t know everything about everybody in a small town, but we do know when someone new’s around.”

“What’s that supposed to mean?”

“It means as soon as your girlfriend got in trouble, people were bound to talk.”

“So that’s how you knew?”

Angela nodded.

Jake wasn’t sure he believed her. It sounded plausible but that didn’t mean it was right but still, that didn’t answer the second question. “Why did you take me out there?”

“You said you wanted to know.”

“That’s not what I meant. You could have told me back at the hotel room. You could have told me there was someone I needed to talk to. You could have told me almost anything. You could have even lied and said you didn’t know. So why’d you bring me out here?”

“You said you wanted to know.”

“And you still haven’t answered my question.”

Angela smiled. “No, I haven’t, but if you take me up to your hotel room, maybe I will.”

Jake seemed to think that over and then he shook his head. “I’m afraid I’m going to have to pass,” he said.

“But—”

The man shook his head. “I don’t know what’s going on here, but whatever it is, I think I’m going to have to pass.”

“Fine,” Angela growled. “Just fine.”

Jake watched the maid go off to wherever it was she was going to go. He hoped she wasn’t going to lose her job for taking him out there but all the same, he didn’t trust her either. She had an agenda she was playing. Jake was sure of that. The only problem was he hadn’t figured out what that agenda was, and he wasn’t sure he wanted to be part of it.

So what the hell was he going to do, Jake asked himself. It was clear Susan wasn’t going to be back for a while, so what the hell was he going to do.

Perhaps the best choice was the most obvious choice. There was a bar in the hotel and while Jake didn’t necessarily want to get himself drunk, a beer or two might dull what he’d already seen.

Might, he told himself, but there were no guarantees.

The bar was a dark place. Dark woods and dark carpets dominated the interior. Aside from him, the only other person in the bar was the bartender. “What can I get for you?” the man asked.

“Beer, I guess.”

“Anything in particular?”

“What you got on tap?”

“Miller.”

“Shoot. I don’t care. Give me some of that.”

“Coming right up, bud.”

The bartender poured the beer and he put the glass in front of Jake. “Can I get you anything else,” the man said.

“You got some nuts.”

“Sure thing, sir. Coming right up.”

Jake brooded at the bar as the bartender put a bowl of nuts in front of him. He popped a couple of nuts in his mouth and he took another swig from his beer. So what the hell was he going to do about Susan?

The bartender seemed to watch Jake but it became clear that Jake didn’t want to talk so he moved off down the bar. Far enough so that he didn’t look like he was intruding but not so far as he couldn’t be called upon if needed.

A delivery man walked into the bar. “Hey, Mike,” he said.

The bartender looked up. “Hey, Darrell. You got some deliveries for me?”

“Out in the truck. You need anything else while I’m out there?”

“Let me go in the back and check.”

“Take your time,” Darrell said.

The delivery man looked at Jake. “You new here in town or you just passing through?” he asked.

“Just passing through.”

“Too bad.”

“Too bad? Why’s it too bad?”

“Why’s it too bad? Dude, what are you talking about? This place is fucking great. Company tried to take me off of this run. They even said they’d give me a promotion if I did but I wouldn’t do it because I love this town.”

“You do?”

“Yeah, man. The girls around here, they’re hot, and dude, like haven’t you noticed? They always put out.”

“Yeah. I think I noticed that.”

“Noticed what?”

“What you said,” Jake said. “About the girls. I noticed that.”

“So you see what I’m talking about.”

“See what?”

“You see why this place is such a great place.”

Jake shook his head. “Even if I were buying what you were saying,” he said, “and I don’t, but even if I were buying what you’re saying, I’m here with my girlfriend. I couldn’t fool around even if I wanted to.”

“Oh, dude. That sucks.”

“Yeah,” Jake said and then he realized what he’d said. “I mean, no. I don’t want to fool around on her.”

“Oh geez. That totally sucks.”

Jake didn’t say anything and neither did his newfound buddy.

“Hey, dude.”

“What?”

“Is your girlfriend hot?”

“Is my girlfriend what?”

“Is your girlfriend hot?”

Jake could feel his hands starting to clench. “I don’t see what that has to do with anything,” the man said.

“Hey, don’t get me wrong,” Darrell said. “I didn’t mean anything by it, but I was just thinking if your girlfriend was hot ...”

“What?!”

“I was just thinking, if she was like some of the girls here in town,” the man said, “that wouldn’t necessarily be a bad thing.”

“Are you telling me you want to have sex with my girlfriend?”

“No, no. I’m not saying that at all. It’s just ...”

“It’s just what?”

“It’s just that I was thinking it was a good deal for you. That’s all.”

“A good deal for me,” Jake growled. “Just how the hell is that a good thing for me?”

“Well, I was thinking, as long as she’s here in this town, she’s not likely to say no, is she?”

Jake would have hit the man if he thought it would do any good. That was just the problem though. It wouldn’t do any good. It seemed as if Susan was having a hard time saying no. It also was clear that so far, she hadn’t said yes to him.

Of course, maybe that was his fault.

“Hey,” said Darrell. “Did I say something wrong?”

“No.”

“I mean if I did, I didn’t mean to.”

“I said no,” Jake said.

“You sure?”

“I’m sure.”

It was just that time that the bartender stepped out of the back room. “Hey, Darrell.”

The other man grinned at Jake. “Gotta go, man. Duty calls, but hey, I hope things turn out okay between you and your girl friend.”

“Yeah thanks,” Jake said.

“I mean it.”

“Yeah thanks,” Jake said again.

Darrell looked at the other man as if trying to decide whether he should say anything more, but in the end, he just gave up and went back to talk with the bartender.

Jake breathed a sigh of relief. It wasn’t like he’d come in here to talk to someone. He’d come in here to forget, and besides, it was just plain dumb. Darrell needed to learn that the world just didn’t work that way. Towns couldn’t make someone want to have sex.

Jake took another gulp from his drink. Listening to Darrell talk was amusing but that didn’t solve his problem. It was amusing that this man could actually believe ... believe what? That just being in this town could have that kind of an affect on women? Jake smiled to himself. Well, the place was called Skankytown. Maybe that had something to do with it.

There was a woman sitting in the corner. Jake hadn’t noticed her when he’d come in but now that he’d had a chance to calm down ... well, he still wasn’t exactly calm, but he was calmer ... now, that he as calmer, he was noticing the woman in the corner.

She was sitting in a booth all by herself, nursing what looked to Jake to be a white wine, or at least it was something served up in a wine glass.

She looked to be in her early to mid twenties. Her hair was dark. Her clothing was sensible, business attire. There was nowhere to look. There were no windows in the place so since there was nowhere to look, she was looking nowhere in particular.

Jake took another drink from his beer. Easy there, he told himself even as the thought were forming in his head. Take it easy.

The problem was, once those thoughts were there, he found them hard to ignore.

Darrell was just crazy, Jake tried to convince himself. He didn’t really know what he was talking about.

Yeah, but what if he did.

Jake took another drink from his beer. He couldn’t, he told himself.

But what if he did.

Seriously, he tried to argue with himself. Seriously. You’re going to do what? You’re going to make a move on that woman? Why?

Yeah, but if Darrell’s right?

Fuck, Darrell. He’s not right and you’re going to make a fool of yourself, and besides, you got a girlfriend.

Yeah, a girlfriend who’s out doing hell knows what.

Maybe that was what finally did it. Maybe that was what pushed him over the edge. He was going to do it, he told himself. He was going to do it. He could see the woman in the corner getting up and getting ready to leave.

He turned as she was about to pass by. “Excuse me.”

“What?” the woman demanded, her voice burning with indignation.

“I ... I—” Jake spluttered.

“Let me guess,” the woman said. “You want to have sex with me, don’t you?”

I told you, Jake told himself. I told you you shouldn’t have done it.

“I don’t understand what it is with the guys in this town.”

“Guys,” Jake asked, trying desperately to divert the woman’s focus.

“You mean you weren’t going to ask me if I wanted to fuck,” the woman said.

“I got a girlfriend,” Jake said, as if that explained everything.

The woman continued to look at him before finally nodding to herself. “Sorry about that, but ever since I got here, I’ve had guys hitting on me. I came in here because it looked like a quiet place to get away from everyone.”

“Yeah, well, I guess.”

“So you said you had a girlfriend?”

“What?”

“You said you had a girlfriend.”

“Yeah, I guess.”

“What’s that supposed to mean,” the woman said, her voice once more tinged with suspicion.

“It looks like you’re not the only one being hit on,” Jake said sullenly.

“Yeah?”

“Yeah. Let’s just say I caught her doing something I didn’t think she’d ever do and let’s leave it at that.”

The woman smiled and Jake realized it was the first time he’d seen her smile. “All right,” she said. “My name’s Robin, by the way.”

“And I’m Jake. So what’s your story? You said guys were hitting on you?”

Almost as quickly as the smile had appeared, it disappeared. “Bunch of two-bit penny ante jerks,” the woman said. “As soon as I got here, it seems like guys have been wanting to hit on me.”

“I take it you’re not from around here then.”

“Me? No, I’m just passing through. I got a job interview I’m going to and I’m just staying the night and I’m out of here tomorrow morning.”

“I take it you don’t like it here.”

“The town’s fine,” the woman said. “It’s the people.”

Jake shook his head. “You ask me,” he said, “I’d say it was the other way around. The people are okay. It’s the town that’s a little creepy,” and it was then he realized that he was starting to sound like Darrell. Like the town could really have this kind of effect. That was silly.

“Well, it was good to meet you,” Robin said, “but I guess I’ll be going up to my room.”

“It was good to meet you, too,” Jake said.

“And hey, I’m sorry to hear about your girlfriend.”

“Yeah,” Jake said.

Jake watched the woman walk away. He supposed he should feel good, he thought, to know that it wasn’t just him that was having problems, but the truth was that didn’t help much at all. He waved at the bartender and he ordered himself another beer and continued to think about what it was he was going to do.

Unfortunately, the second beer did little to improve his outlook on the situation. No matter how he seemed to look at it, the situation was bad all the way around.

Jake payed his bill and went back to his room. He supposed he might as well wait, he told himself. It would be interesting to hear Susan try to tell her side of what she’d doing when she finally got back and Jake still wasn’t sure how much he was going to tell her about what he already knew.

He turned on the TV but a quick flip through the channel soon confirmed that there was nothing there that he wanted to see.

It wasn’t that much later when there came a knock on his hotel room door.

“Robin,” he said with surprise. “What brings you here?”

“I was wondering if I could come in?”

“Sure,” the man said.

“Your girlfriend’s not here, is she?”

Jake shook his head. “I have no idea when she’s going to be back.”

“Good, ‘cause I’ve got something I want to discuss with you.”

There was something about her, Jake thought. Something that was different from the way she’d been before, but whatever it was, he just couldn’t seem to put his finger on it. “Sure,” he said. “Sure. Come on in.”

“You know,” Robin said, “I was thinking about our problems, about yours and mine.”

“Okay,” Jake said hesitantly. He wasn’t sure exactly what she was talking about but he was sure she’d explain herself momentarily.

“You’ve got a girlfriend who’s been fooling around on you and I’ve got guys who won’t leave me alone. The way I see it, we could help each other out.”

“How?”

“You want to do something to get back at your girlfriend and I want to keep the guys at bay so the way I see it, you could come up to my room and fuck me.”

“What?!”

“Don’t you see? It’s perfect. You get to get back at your girlfriend, and I can tell all those guys that keep hitting on me that I’ve already got someone here, thank you very much.”

“I don’t know.”

“Come on. Like I said, it’s perfect. I don’t know why I didn’t think of it earlier, but it’s so right.”

Jake couldn’t help but stare at the woman. What had gotten into her, he wondered. Just an hour before, she’d been bitching about all the guys that were trying to hit on her and now here she was, inviting him to ...

Wait a minute, the man thought. Wait. What was she doing with her legs.

One of her hands was stroking her thigh. “Do you know when I thought of my plan, it made me so hot,” Robin said. “Do you know what I did then?”

Jake shook his head.

“I thought about it at first and the more I thought about it, the more right it felt.”

Jake was listening to what Robin was saying but for some reason, he couldn’t take his eyes off her hand.

“I don’t like to do anything without first considering the ramifications first. Know what I mean?”

Jake knew what she mean but he was also watching her thighs slowly move apart and her hand, her hand was pulling at her skirt.

“I thought about it and I thought about it and as far as I could tell, there wasn’t anything wrong with it.”

That hand was definitely pulling up her skirt and the legs were definitely open and ... and what was that he was seeing. “Are you wearing any panties?” he asked.

Robin pulled her skirt even higher. “What do you think?”

“I don’t think you are.”

Robin pulled her skirt even higher. “I think you’re right,” she said. “So what do you say. Want to come up to my room?”

He shouldn’t, Jake told himself.

“Come on,” the girl said.

But he wanted to so bad.

“Want to come up to my room?”

“Why can’t we do it here?” Jake asked.

“Because your girlfriend might come back at any time,” Robin said, “and you wouldn’t want that, would you?”

Jake shook his head even as Robin pulled her skirt even higher.

“What about it?” she asked. “You want to do it?”

He should say no, Jake knew. He should say no.

“Come on. I know you want to do it. I saw you looking at me in the bar earlier.”

He should say no but ...

“All right.”

Robin’s room was on the fourth floor. Jake still couldn’t believe he was doing this as Robin led him inside. “You don’t have to look so tense,” Robin said. “You’re supposed to enjoy yourself.”

“I know.”

“So loosen up.”

“I can’t.”

“Maybe you just need some help.”

“Some help?”

Robin smiled as she dragged the man over to the bed and then she was pushing him down on the bed. “Yeah,” she said as she pushed his knees apart. “Some help,” she said as she dropped between his knees.

“Oh fuck,” the man groaned and then he groaned again.

“I can help you relax,” Robin said as she slid her mouth down around the man’s cock.

The man groaned again. Considering how hard his cock was, this wasn’t exactly his idea of relaxed, but it was good enough for now.

“You like that?” Robin asked.

“Oh yeah,” the man groaned.

“Does your girlfriend suck your cock like this?”

Jake was silent.

“Does she suck it at all?”

“She has.”

“Just not all the time.”

Jake shook his head.

“Oh, poor baby. Let me show you what you’ve been missing out on.”

Jake groaned again as that mouth once more descended on his cock. Oh fuck, the man thought. Oh fuck. Oh geez, that was good. Oh fuck.

And she wasn’t stopping either. Her mouth just kept sucking his cock.

“Oh fuck,” he groaned. “Oh fuck.”

The woman pulled her mouth away but her hand continued to stroke Jake’s cock. “I want you to do it,” she said. “I want you to cum for me.”

“Oh fuck,” Jake groaned. “Oh fuck,” and then his cock did exactly what Robin said it would do.

“You know I’m not wearing any panties, don’t you?”

“Yes.”

Her hand continued to stroke Jake’s cock even as she pulled herself up off her knees and then she was pulling her dress up even as she straddled Jake’s lap. “Does your girlfriend do this?” she asked.

Jake groaned as Robin’s pussy slid down around his cock.

“I can’t hear you,” Robin said.

“No,” he said.

Robin slipped the straps of her dress off her shoulders and then she was pulling her dress down to expose her breasts. “How about this?” she asked as she pressed her tits against the man’s face.

“No,” Jake said again.

“Hmmm. You’re so deprived.”

Jake couldn’t help but groan as Robin’s pussy ground against his cock.

“I like you,” Robin said.

“Oh fuck,” Jake groaned.

“Do you like me?” asked the woman.

Oh fuck, Jake thought. Oh fuck. This couldn’t be happening to him.

“Do you like me?” Robin asked again.

Oh fuck, Jake thought. Oh fuck. Her pussy was so ... oh fuck. Her pussy was so tight.

“That’s all I want to hear you say,” Robin said. “I just want to hear you say you like me.”

Oh fuck, the man thought.

“I just want to hear you say it and then you can cum inside me. I just want to hear you say it.”

“I like you.”

It was as if everything suddenly changed in that one moment. Robin gurgled happily as her pussy continued to ride that cock and suddenly, Jake was cumming. He wasn’t sure how Robin had done it or if she’d even done anything at all, but it didn’t matter. He was coming hard inside of her tight, little pussy even as Robin pressed herself against his body.

She kissed him. “I think I love you,” she said and then she kissed him again and inwardly, Jake groaned. He just hoped he wasn’t going to regret this but he was afraid he might.
