A month had passed, and Jake had almost completely readjusted to his new home. He sat on the couch in the guesthouse, watching a fighting competition between a huge wrestler and a giant panda, which was actually doing some very good back flips at the moment.

Jake found himself up the next morning and walking the three blocks to school. He really didn’t mind, it was such a nice day. His teacher was a nice man, who went out of his way to make sure that Jake adjusted to the school well. Sure as Barbara had predicted, everyone wanted to know about his ‘grandfather’, the great Professor Mato. Jake had actually gotten to know the old man pretty well, so was able to fairly accurately answer most everything they threw at him. During the athletic period, he even played baseball with some new friends and had a great time.

But what Jake noticed the most about school were the people. There were so many different types it was astounding. Especially the females. From teacher to student, everyone was drop dead beautiful. The girl was completely calm and although they came close to hitting others, she never seemed concerned in the least. This continued for a frightening six minutes until a police cruiser somehow managed to get behind them long enough for it’s siren to attract Jen’s attention. “Great, what did I do?” She finally pulled over on the highway, which Jake didn’t even remember getting on, as the police stopped behind them.
